A driver led police on a wild chase through the Twin Cities area in Minnesota before crashing his vehicle and trying to escape on foot.
The chase, most of which was caught on camera, lasted more than 10 minutes on a range of roads in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area on Wednesday, April 11.
Police tried to stop the 29-year-old driver, who they believed was involved in an aggravated assault and was armed, WCCO reported.
But when the police attempted to pull the car over, the suspect sped away and led deputies on a chase at speeds in excess of 90 miles per hour.
The video shows the car racing off the highway, past a school bus and then crashing.
The driver can be seen exiting the vehicle and leading the police on a foot chase, before being apprehended.
According to reports, the man was charged with aggravated assault, fleeing police in a motor vehicle, possession of a firearm by an ineligible person, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of a controlled substance.
