Why did Lynne Patton, the Trump Administration’s New York and New Jersey Chief for Housing and Urban Development, HUD, take the job? And what are her experiences of being a high profile black woman working in the Trump administration? This American Thought Leaders, and I’m Jan Jekielek. Today we sit down with Lynne Patton, HUD Regional Administrator for New York and New Jersey, who also served in the Trump organization for 10 years, most recently as Vice President of the Eric Trump Foundation. We discuss her role at HUD, her experiences living in New York Public housing and overall as a black conservative woman, and her take on the attacks on secretary carson, President Trump, his family, and supporters of the administration, especially by the legacy media.
