Restaurant Owner Faces Death Threats for Hosting GOP Breakfast

The owner of a restaurant said he received death threats after renting a room to a Republican. Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) is running for the Senate and rented a room at Courtney’s Restaurant. Tom Courtney is the owner of the Mount Juliet restaurant. “I have never in my life experienced such a thing. It’s scary,” he said, noting his staffers have been attacked. One caller threatened a 17-year-old. Blackburn slammed the “angry mob” tactics, saying, “The radical left is out of control.”
