President Donald Trump praised his new national security adviser John Bolton for last Friday's airstrikes in Syria.
Speaking at an event on tax cuts in Florida, the crowd applauded Bolton's presence. Trump joked, "Are you giving him all the credit? You know that means the end of his job."
The president hailed the U.S.-led airstrikes, saying, "with way over 100 missiles shot in, they didn't shoot one down."
Trump added that the Syrian "equipment didn't work too well."
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio was also present at the tax cut roundtable and praised Trump's foreign policy addressing oppression in Cuba and Venezuela.
Trump said his administration is "working very hard on the Venezuelan horror show" the world is witnessing.
