Hidden Airport Germs

2018-02-13 19:00
A recent experiment by Insurancequotes.com tested 6 surfaces in 3 major U.S. airports and 3 airlines to find the dirtiest areas while traveling. According to the results, touchscreens on airport kiosks had 1000 times more germs than found on toilet seats. Other highly contaminated areas in the airports included water fountain buttons and armrests on chairs. The 3 germ riddled places inside the airplanes include the toilet flush button, tray tables and seat buckles. Travelers are encouraged to watch their hands often or carry hand sanitizer, especially during winter months. Credit: Stringr via AP
