Tracy Morgan Says Shen Yun is 'Incredible, Magic'

Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan saw Shen Yun with his family in Newark at New Jersey Performing Arts Center on May 2. He describes the experience as witnessing another world. "We didn't know what to expect. It was way beyond our expectations. Beautiful. Everybody here is enjoying it," said Tracy. "It’s beautiful. It’s a whole another world. It’s outside the box for me, it’s a beautiful culture." He added that Maven Morgan, his 5-years old daughter, was so into the culture that she suggested to come. "I’m glad she did. My daughter’s so smart to bring us here and to share this culture with us. It’s something new and it’s lovely." Tracy was astounded by the skills of the performers and appreciates their effort to share China’s 5,000 years of divinely inspired culture through story-based dances. "Incredible. Magic. It’s one word to describe what they’re doing on that stage right now, Magic. Everybody can’t do it," he added. "You see these people representing for their culture and to share that with us. I come from a different culture, so that’s just what it is. But it’s a beautiful thing of sharing it. [It’s] a beautiful thing to experience somebody else’s culture." His wife, model and actress Megan Wollover, and his daughter were also impressed with Shen Yun’s beauty. "I love the show, I love your culture," said Maven. "It's absolutely stunning. It's beautiful," said Megan. "It's just so interesting to watch the culture and the talent. The talent’s very amazing as well." "They’re expressing themselves and their culture, and their history," added Tracy. "It’s a wonderful thing for me to be with my family and experience your culture." NTD News, Newark, New Jersey
