Florida Shooting Suspect Charged With 17 Murders

19-year-old Nikolas Cruz, allegedly opened fire on students and teachers in a high school in Florida, killing 17 people on Feb. 14.    It’s one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history.   Cruz was armed with an AR-15-style rifle and had multiple ammunition magazines when he surrendered to officers in a nearby residential area.   Cruz purchased the AR-15 legally about a year ago, a law enforcement official said.    Cruz was expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior.    He is charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder.
