Kim Jong-Un Sheds Tears Over His Failures; China Criticizes K-Pop Group BTS For Thanking Veterans
History is being rewritten on Christopher Columbus, and people are now being educated on a very different narrative than what used to be taught in schools. To learn more about Columbus, and how history is being rewritten, we've invited to speak with us Dr. Robert Royal, director of the Faith and Reason Institute in Washington, and author of "Columbus and the Crisis of the West." Meanwhile, North Korea held a large-scale celebration and military parade marking the 75th anniversary of the founding of its ruling communist regime. The Party leader Kim Jong-Un made an appearance, after having disappeared from the public scene amid rumors of serious health problems. Among the weapons on display during the parade was what appeared to be a new intercontinental ballistic missile, which may be the largest road-mobile ICBM in the world. And around the time of the parades in North Korea, Chinese state media also criticized BTS, after the popular K-Pop group in South Korea gave a speech thanking veterans of the Korean War. According to China, it supposedly reflects a “one-sided attitude.” This could be interpreted as a subtle signal of Chinese authorities aligning their messaging with North Korea against the South.
