Three Orangutans Rescued by Animal Conservation Agency in Indonesia

Henry Jom
International Animal Rescue recently rescued 3 orangutans in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. Wild orangutan Tomang was in danger after entering a local resident's gardens and eating their crops. In recent months, there has been a rise in the number of animals killed after conflicts with farmers. The other two orangutans, named Joy and Utu, were rescued from being kept as pets. It is illegal to keep an orangutan as a pet in Indonesia. All the orangutans were relocated to the conservation area of a local national park. Credit: Reuters
