Chelsea Judd & Tia Stokes

Chelsea Judd and her husband Steve struggled to have kids. The couple eventually resorted to in vitro fertilization. But this process led to an unfortunate discovery. It turned out that Chelsea’s eggs weren’t viable to conceive a child. “We left that day from the fertility center just really defeated,” Chelsea said. But their miracle came in the form of Tia Stokes. One of Judd's hip-hop dance partners, decided that she could give the couple that gift. “I really wanted to help her have a baby,” Stokes said. Tia went through with the procedure, and fought through the complications. When the time was right, Tia’s eggs were transferred over to her good friend. Soon enough,Chelsea was pregnant! After 7 years, Chelsea and Steve finally got what they wanted. In May 2016, Giselle, was born. Stokes is now Giselle’s auntie, and the whole process brought the two together even closer.
