Passengers Jump From Plane's Wing After Emergency Landing in New Mexico Some passengers on board a Southwest Airlines plane evacuated in dramatic fashion by jumping off one of the plane’s wings following an emergency landing in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on March 11. Footage taken by Brandon Cox shows him and several other passengers on the wing, as others escape more conventionally, via inflatable slides at either end of the aircraft. Southwest Flight 3562, en route to Dallas from Phoenix, made the landing after passengers reported the smell of smoke in the cabin, according to reports. Albuquerque Fire said that two people were transported to a local hospital. Credit: Brandon Cox via Storyful
