Trevor Loudon is a communism expert who has spent years researching U.S. history and politics. He says the 2020 presidential election will determine whether the U.S. Constitution is destroyed or preserved. One example is gun rights. Recently, San Francisco declared the National Rifle Association a terrorist organization...people argue that it is violating the Second Amendment’s right to bear arms. Another is when California attempted to pass a bill that requires a candidate running for president or governor to release tax information to be eligible for election. A lawyer argued that it is unconstitutional, since the requirements for president were already laid out by the Founding Fathers. According to Loudon, America is now far from our founders’ ideals. Traditional American values include individual freedom, opportunity for competition, and success through hard work. But now, they’re being destroyed through policies that increase government control, taxes, and censorship. Loudon says that this election will be a contest between communism and freedom.
