U.S. and Canadian astronauts begin 6.5-hour spacewalk
U.S. astronaut Anne McClain and Canadian astronaut David Saint-Jacques began what is expected to be a 6.5-hour spacewalk at 1151gmt on Monday (April 8).
The astronauts will be updating the power system on the International Space Station spacewalk, during this, the third of four spacewalks scheduled to take place during Expedition 59.
This is McClain's second spacewalk and Saint-Jacques' first. He is the fourth Canadian to walk in space and the first to perform a spacewalk in 12 years.
