How Do Missions Get Formed? (Live Public Talk)

Have you ever wondered how missions are formed? We talked to one of our robotics engineers about project formulation and looked at the process of generating ideas - from napkin sketch to prototype to development and testing. Using real-life experiences from the Mars rovers and Mars Sample Return missions, we also explored how they determine the right questions to ask to understand what technologies are needed to get the job done.
